Hopedale Community Nursery School is a cooperative nursery school for 3,4 and 5 year olds. We recently celebrated our 30th anniversary of guiding children in their first school experience, and we continue to provide a positive, nurturing environment. The philosophy at Hopedale is that children learn best at their own pace through play. We provide a warm, accepting place where children develop social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills and where independence is encouraged.

Being a cooperative school means that parents get the opportunity to observe their childrens' progress first hand. All families participate in the decision-making and running of the school by serving on a committee as well as assisting in the class room. The rewards of this involvement go beyond the enjoyment and satisfaction of watching your child's growth; you also get to know all her friends in class! Friendship with other parents who share a similar philosophy of early education is another valuable bonus.
